Sadly, one of my new favorite things is seeing how hard people try to figure out whether we're having a boy or girl. We weren't going to tell people that we know, so we could avoid this, but it's actually pretty fun now! There are some people who are hanging onto every pronoun I say, don't say, etc. to see if they can figure it out, and it's kinda fun to toss out things I know they'll pick up on, to see what direction they take it. Some think everything I say is a set up and so if I say something that points toward Coco being a girl, Coco must be a boy, because I must be intentionally trying to mislead them. Others think I just keep making slips and can't keep my secret, so they think when I slip and say something that leads to Coco being a boy or a girl, that must be what Coco is.
Thanks for the entertainment, guys!
PS- Regardless, I'm starting to doubt my ultrasound results anyway, since so many people I've been talking to lately have had their results be wrong at the 20 week ultrasound and they didn't find out until 32 or 38 weeks or even birth! So I'm still planning on gender neutral items and hoping the ultrasound tech was right, just because I don't need any more surprises!
