In addition to the free MAM pacifiers I won a few weeks ago, I have now gotten a free sling to carry Coco in! Yay for free stuff! I love it! If only people gave away the really big stuff! LOL. Coco must agree with freebies because as soon as I typed that, Coco kicked so hard you could see my stomach move! I love it!
My family came over again today (dad included this time!), and worked on the house some more. Dad sided the back of the house, around the slider door where there wasn't siding before. We need a few more pieces to fill in one row (we ran out) around the slider, and then for around the back door. We also need a few trim boards for around our other back door, since I noticed while sitting outside watching today, that bees/hornets/things with stingers that I don't like are making a hive/nest in the wall there, which means they are in the porch, and encroaching on my sunroom! I'm not okay with that! More pictures of the house to come soon. Or visit facebook and check them out there in the meantime.
Also, we may be looking for a cheap used dresser. Nothing wide/vanity style, since I'd ultimately like to fit it in the closet in the baby's room, and also not too tall then, since I want to hang things above it on the bar in there. Just a few drawers, in good working condition. We can paint it if need be. I've found a few on craigslist, but we can't get it this second, so they probably won't be around, and they are going really quickly, it seems, because of college kids moving into the area. Let me know if you know of anything inexpensive out there.
What kind of sling did you get and where!? I can't find my ring sling and it's driving me crazy!
ReplyDeleteI got a free pocket/pouch style sling from a place I'd gotten a nursing cover from for free before. They sent me a code to get it for free. I know some people complain that they might not be the highest quality nursing covers, so then the slings might not be, but they are regularly something like $40, and it's free, so hey. I thought the nursing cover seemed nice enough though. At least I can try it out and see if I like carrying a baby that way without having to spend a ton of money to figure it out!
ReplyDeleteUdderCovers?
ReplyDeleteAnd, my sling was regular price $40.
ReplyDeleteyes, but their sister site, sevenslings i think it's called? I can't remember.
