Well, I'm measuring about a week or so ahead, so I'm gonna go ahead and do weeks 20 and 21 together. We're past the halfway mark!!
Coco is a cantaloupe or a banana this week.
The size difference between 20 and 21 weeks is so huge because instead of measuring crown to rump, they switch to measuring crown to legs in between these two weeks. Now that I've been feeling Coco move more, I start to worry when I haven't felt Coco in a few hours. But Coco is wiggling away, I'm sure, since at our ultrasound, Coco wouldn't sit still for very long! Each jab or punch makes me smile though, and I can't wait until they are strong enough for Jeff to feel them too! Coco is also working on swallowing a lot of amniotic fluid now, and testing out the digestive tract. Coco can taste everything I eat now, so I should choose my meals carefully! Bad enough I have to contend with my taste buds, but I want Coco to like a wide variety of food!
Here's a 20 week/21 week photo. It is ungodly hot and humid here, so I have *lived* in a dress this week! Maybe later this week I'll take and post a picture of my *actual* belly instead of hiding it under a shirt...but we'll see. I have some crazy stretch marks!
Side note: I won a pack of pacifiers on facebook and it made my week when they showed up in the mail yesterday! Free things are wonderful! I should win things more often... LOL
