Thanks!

Thanks for the prayers guys! Shockingly (and not at all like my usual self-lol) I have been fairly positive about it all, since baby has over a 90% chance of survival at this point, and I'm in my third trimester and all that good stuff. I'm sure I'll have my freak out moments (since that's just me!), but it's nice to not be panicking at this point! I am hoping to get some clarification on everything tomorrow at my appointment, but my doctor has been extremely and repeatedly vague about stuff like that. I sometimes wonder if he remembers what he tells me (he doesn't seem to write anything down ever!) from visit to visit. Oh well. I have a long list for tomorrow, and will just go from there.

  1. Good luck tomorrow! Are they thinking they'll be delivering you sometime soon? If so, I'm in the same boat... not for the same reasons, but we're pretty close in our pregnancies so who knows, we both may be mamas a whole lot sooner than we planned!
At my appt last week (27 weeks) they said our bebe would have an 80-90% survival rate, and it's only getting better from here on out. That's what I've been focusing on- sounds like you are too :)
I hope everything turns out okay and you can keep that little one incubating for awhile longer!

  2. Dude, y'all would be in the same hospital. That's kind of crazy.

As for the carseat, my friend Amy had her baby 3 weeks early and hadn't gotten the it yet. They had friends go buy one for them so they could take their son home from the hospital.

I think he writes things down after the appointment. There always were notes in my file, but my pregnancy was boring.

  3. I hope he writes stuff down, but when I've had to see other docs, they never know that I'm on bedrest or anything like that. I always have to take 15 minutes to explain the whole history and then they just say "we'll leave that to him when you see him next"...
