Coco 29 Weeks

For the next few weeks, Coco is the size of a squash. Coco is growing rapidly now and will almost triple in weight before delivery! He's about 16 inches long, which is just a little shorter than most newborns. Her brain is adding billions of neurons, so her head is growing as well. Her energy is soaring right now, leading to more kicks and jabs and rolls. Things are getting a little cramped in there for Coco!

I have had another long week. I'm sick of bedrest. It's been 10 weeks now. Also, my eyes won't let me wear my contacts much anymore, so I'll be sporting my glasses more often. Since Friday night, I just haven't felt well and have lots of braxton hicks contractions, which make me nauseous. I also haven't been sleeping well lately. It seems like once I wake up, I cannot fall back to sleep, so no matter what time it is, I am up for the day the first time I wake up! I am very excited though to be almost 30 weeks, to have the nursery be almost done, and to go to our little church shower on Saturday morning!

  1. I hear you on the braxton hicks. They make ME nauseous, too. And I'm having 3-4 an hour these days. Blah.
I'm dreading (possibly) being put on full bedrest starting Thursday. I'm only on modified bedrest now, so I can still get out of the house occaisonally. I will go STIR CRAZY on full bedrest! Ahhh!
    Happy 29 weeks :)

  2. Thanks!

Yeah, I went stir crazy at first, and have my moments, but it's not so bad. Maybe because I've knocked down 10 weeks already! lol

I'm so sick of the nausea and BH issues. I am over being pregnant...ready to just meet my baby!
