Coco is the size of an eggplant this month, and is kicking up a storm as I write this!
Jeff might be able to pick up baby's heartbeat (no stethoscope required), just by listening to my belly. The formation of tiny capillaries is giving baby a healthy pink glow, and Coco is filling out a bit. Coco's also soaking up my antibodies, getting the immune system ready for life on the outside. Eyes are forming, and Coco will soon perfect the blink -- perfect for batting those freshly grown lashes. Coco should be growing hair on his/her head right now too. I wonder what color it is! Jeff has tried all week to feel Coco kicking, but every time he tries, Coco either stops kicking, or Jeff's hands are shaking too much to notice the little kicks. Soon, hopefully!
This week, I battled a nasty cold and ended up on antibiotics last week Sunday night because I wasn't breathing well. Monday, I had tests done to check my kidney and liver function, and all is well there. Wednesday, I had a check up, and my belly was suddenly measuring 5 weeks ahead! I have an ultrasound scheduled for about 10 days from now to check on Coco's growth. On Friday, I did my Glucose Tolerance Test, and am hoping to not have to repeat it! I should get my results on Tuesday at my next appointment. We also had our hospital tour, which was weird, and I learned a few wonderful things, like I can control the temperature in my own room (if you know me well, that's gonna mean everyone else will be wearing ski coats!), and if I end up with an emergency C-section, Jeff won't be allowed in the operating room. I also got asked this week if I was having twins. I was not amused. I know I'm bigger this week, but seriously. Who asks that?
Here's me today. I'm realizing I don't have any seasonally appropriate clothing, so if you know of any I can borrow (short sleeves, long sleeves, etc.), please let me know. I am set for pants, but all summer I wore tank tops, and we can't get me any clothes for fall/winter. If I have to, I'll keep doing like I have lately, and wear my tank tops with cardigans! We also are still searching for income until Coco arrives. Pass along anything that Jeff can do, even one time jobs, or something that I can do from home that isn't sales or marketing.

I pretty much wore regular cardigans my whole pregnancy, it works!
