Coco 23 Weeks

It's been an exciting week for Coco. We had our first visit to Labor and Delivery Triage at the hospital. Everything is fine now, so that's good. Also, my blood pressure medication was increased, making me feel even more tired, loopy, and just not right. Add that to the plethora (I've always wanted to use that word in something!) of contractions I was feeling this week, and I've been pretty miserable. Coco is thankfully fine despite the tough week I had physically and emotionally! And I think, after falling apart at church because people were being nice (yes, I know...I'm pathetic), the whole super-emotional part of me is done for awhile. I hope at least.

Coco is essentially the same size as last week...Coco apparently really likes music, because he always perks up and moves then, except when I put music on just to feel him wiggle. Then my stubborn little peanut doesn't cooperate. Also, she is getting closer and closer to viability, which is great news for this panicky momma who is worried about all the health problems! Most people consider 24 weeks to be the earliest an infant is viable, though there have been some very inspiring stories of infants born at 21 weeks and surviving, so that helps too. We of course, would prefer to make it full term, but at this point, I would love to make it to at least 32 weeks. That is the first week of November, so obviously still pretty early, since I'm not due til the New Year. Thanksgiving would be even better! I figure though, with all this talk of early delivery, I'll go 10 days late!

Here's me today at 23 weeks. Ignore the mountain of cardboard behind me. Every baby item comes with a ton of it and our recycle bin is only so big (and is only picked up once every two weeks)!

**Also, if you happen to know of work with a flexible schedule for Jeff during November and December, please let us know!!! He'll be between jobs for those two months, and we haven't been making enough to save anything up for those two months, so I have no idea how we'll pay our bills, eat, etc. then. He will however, have to be able to go to Lansing on occasion, to get ready for his new job, so he needs some flexibility. Please let us know right away if you hear of anything!
