I need an eye patch.

My eye is acting up. I know it's not really that big of a deal, but it makes it difficult to drive, see, etc. My eye did this last year at the same time and I was told it was an infection and was given eye drops for it ($70 per teeny tiny bottle!). I still have the drops, and since the same problem cropped up again, went to go use them, but checked first to see if they are safe while pregnant...nope. So I am stuck with a burning, watering eye, that can't tolerate light, and won't stay open for more than a few seconds at a time. Oddly enough, my contact seems to shield/protect it a little and feels somewhat better than if I wear my glasses, until I go to take my contact out and my eye feels like sandpaper, and burns all night long. I am off to Walgreens to see if they have anything for allergy eyes or something similar, since it seems to appear at the same time each year, so maybe, just maybe, it is something seasonal and can be treated OTC! So if you see me anywhere and I am holding a teary eye shut, don't think something bad happened...it's just my stupid eye.
