To all three people that actually read these anymore...

The doctor's office was concerned that my dates didn't match my ultrasound. I was sent for a quantitative hcg test tonight, and will repeat it on Thursday to see the change in it. If it goes down, then that means I've miscarried. If it goes up, that's a good sign, and I will repeat the ultrasound in about a week. I will also be monitored extremely closely for the remainder of my pregnancy. It is VERY possible that my dates were wrong/off  by as much as necessary to have the ultrasound be correct. I'll be chilling on my couch the rest of the week, other than my bloodwork and doctor's appointment.

Prayers would be great.

PS- Why do you think it is that my doctor's office can't seem to get it right who my doctor is? I switched from one doctor to another inside the practice, and even though I've been told multiple times that the computer lists the correct doctor, the doctor I "dumped" is the one that keeps calling me. I mean, yes, I am getting information from her, so I should be okay with that, but how hard is it to have the doctor I am actually a patient of call me with concerns, plans, and results? As of now, I have not yet even talked to my doctor...just the former one I've been trying to ditch since the first time I saw her! One of these days I hope they straighten it out!

  3. That's where I go too. What doctor are you trying to get rid of and which one is your correct doctor? I've seen every one at least once in the last 6 years.

  4. I had Dr. Hubbard (I didn't want her cause she's who I dealt with for my last miscarriage, and I once interviewed to babysit her children, which is just awkward now). I am going to be seeing Dr. Taber. When the office called me a few minutes ago, they were going to straighten it all out (again!). Hopefully it's all set!

  5. Dr. Hubbard delivered Luke, and she made me laugh (which is an accomplishment during labor :-)) but that is the only contact I've had with her. I saw Dr. Taber after I had Anna and came into the office with fever when she was one week old. I liked him too. I really like that office and that group of doctors! I have Dr. Ruth Brandt and I LOVE her! I'm praying that Coco will be fine!

  6. I just had Dr. Brandt for an ultrasound. I liked her a lot! I think I would like Dr. Hubbard more if I hadn't interviewed to babysit her kids (it was right before my first appointment there and I didn't know it was her until I showed up at the office...) My mom has Dr. Taber and so did a cousin. In general, I like all the doctors there (except one, but he retired), so no matter who ends up delivering our children, I should be fine with that. One of my old youth leaders is a nurse at the office, which is how I picked it in the first place.
