I saw a surgeon last week. My gall bladder has to come out. Apparently it's only functioning at 33%. This is frustrating for a few reasons: 1) it was the second test I had done that showed this, but the doctor told me my test results were normal, 2) I could have already had it taken out already and been recovered before summer started, 3) that's what I thought was wrong the whole time but kept getting told no! Mostly though, I'm bummed that I have to push through til August with more pain and side effects before I can have surgery (due to all the plans we already have for the summer). Blech.
