18 months already!

My sweet, lovable, energetic, naughty, bubbly, talkative little boy is 18 months old already!

Weight: approx. 30 lbs (99th %ile)

Height: approx. 35.5 inches (99th %ile)

Head circumference: 20 inches (99th %ile)

Teeth: 16 teeth (all but his 2 year molars, which are close, but not through yet)

What he can do: Cole walks and runs, can jump, and loves to dance! He has over 100 words he says consistently, plus a whole mess of words I don't understand! He can climb the stairs and is starting to think he can go down them alone. He manages to walk down them holding the railing or my hand pretty well now, and went down our front porch steps alone, scaring the pants off me! He can identify his ears, nose, teeth, hair, tongue, belly, belly button, eyes, toes, feet, hands... He loves to say please, thank you, and love you. He started counting, and is super excited to say "TWO!" when we say "One." He will randomly start bouncing up and down, saying "dance dance" and loves to talk on his phone. He has conversations that sound pretty entertaining..."uh yeah, oh wow, oh, uhhuh, okay, who is it?"

Eats: Cole is eating what we eat at most meals, and eats like a total pig at breakfast and lunch, but not much at dinner. His favorite foods right now are strawberries, pears, peaches, grapes, cheese sticks, grilled cheese, pizza, ravioli/meatballs, pancakes, eggs, and sausage. He doesn't like watermelon at all!

Sleep: Cole is on one nap a day now. He wakes up around 7, naps from about 12:30 to 2:30 or 3, and is in bed about 8pm. He loves routines, so before bed, we brush teeth, change his diaper, put on pjs, and then read while he gets a breathing treatment. He has parts of "Goodnight Moon" and "The Going to Bed Book" memorized. It's insanely adorable! 

Books: Cole would read all day long if we could! He loves to flip through books, tell me stories about what is going on in them, and giggles hysterically when I read some of his favorites. His two goodnight books are always a hit, plus "Dear Zoo", "Giraffes Can't Dance", and "Sheep in a Jeep". "Yummy Yucky" is always a winner too. He belly laughs every time you say "YUCKY!" 

Toys/Games: Cole is in love with his cars, blocks, and stuffed animals. And of course the old cell phone he plays with. He likes to throw a ball with daddy, and push his toy mower outside. We played in the sprinkler and pool a few times too, which was pretty fun! Mostly, he likes to just run around outside and watch cars, and dig in the dirt. We have a sand and water table that he adores, but it's super messy. He would be in heaven if we found a sandbox he could sit in!

Clothes: Pants-- 24 months or 2T. 24 month shorts fit the best, because 2T are pretty long.

Shirts-- 24 month and 2T

Sleepers-- 24 month and 2T are perfect, but they are all fleece, and way too warm for summer!

Shoes-- size 5/6
