Murphy's Law

I don't know who this Murphy guy is, but I don't like him very much. So far, since moving in, we've had electrical problems, no hot water, a gas leak in the furnace and the stove, our garage door broke, and our dryer won't dry. We've been forking out money left and right to pay for repairs, and the ones that are left will cost several thousand dollars. So much for parking in my garage this winter.
