21 Months Old!

My boogie is almost TWO!
Weight: approx. 30 lbs (99th %ile)
Height: approx. 36 inches (99th %ile)
Head circumference: 20 inches (99th %ile)
Teeth: 20 teeth (I think we're done for awhile now!)

What he can do: Cole counts to ten, spells his name, jumps, runs, dances, sings, climbs, talks up a storm. His language is exploding! He's putting more words together into sentences, which is a blast! He also started whistling while he plays too. It's super cute! He has no clue he's doing it though.

Eats: We finally hit the picky toddler stage. Lately, he wants "sacks" (snacks) all day long, but not meals. I'm trying to give him meal foods for snacks and just roll with it, but it's annoying to make something I know he likes, and then clean it up off the floor 5 minutes later. He will currently eat anything if we're out to eat, usually eats mac n cheese, loves to eat a whole apple, dried fruit, fruit/veggie pouches, and cheese.

Sleep: Cole is take one nap a day. He wakes up around 7, naps from about 12:45 to 2 or 2:30, and is in bed about 8pm. He loves routines, so before bed, we brush teeth, change his diaper, put on pjs, and then read while he gets a breathing treatment. He has parts of "Goodnight Moon" and "The Going to Bed Book" memorized. It's insanely adorable! He also asks for songs now. He is in a toddler bed now, and transitioned pretty well. He knows he needs to stay in bed, so if he gets out to get something (a different animal to sleep with), he runs back to his bed quickly. He needs to have his froggie and blanket to sleep. Sometimes the monkey can step in while froggie is in the wash.

Books: Cole LOVES to read. He also likes to chew on books while distracted by something else. He can read the "Oops" book to us (from the David series), and loves his other books too. They are all taken off the shelf at least once a day.

Toys/Games: Cole is really into trucks right now. He will push them around on anything he can reach (tv screen included!). He also loves to cook at his kitchen, and is working hard on puzzles now too. He will stack towers with blocks and come show them to me before smashing them.

Clothes: Pants-- 2T.
Shirts-- 2T fit still, but we're also using 3T for the fall stuff.
Sleepers-- 3T
Shoes-- size 7.5 extra wide. He suddenly grew 2 sizes and needed all new shoes. I hope his winter boots fit...
