Projects

We have a long list of projects to do at this house.

Priority projects for now...

Ripping out at least half the deck. This should mean less space for the skunks to live, and more space for Cole to play. Plus our deck is a piece of junk. We need to leave part of it to access one of the back porches, but oh well.

Cutting out the rest of the mulberry trees, ripping out chunks of concrete and garbage, and raking the lawn more level.

Putting up a privacy fence along the back and side, so Cole can run to his heart's content without me having to chase him out of the street 47 times an hour. Plus we could actually just be in our backyard without the whole neighborhood seeing us or trying to visit us. I think my neighbor is pretty great, but I don't need the little girls in my yard all day long.

Contacting someone to see if our garage door is repairable so that at bare minimum, we can open and close the door. Bonus points if they will install our door opener!

Filling the "oil catching sand pit" in the garage with concrete to deter the wild kitties from using our garage as their litter box.

Dumping all of the trash left in the garage from the old owners. Possibly ripping out the cupboards in the garage, since lovely little critters have taken up shelter there. I think a few dead animals are in there as well. And well, once we can shut our garage door, I don't really want our garage to be home to the kitties.
