I cannot believe Cole is 3 months old today! It's also Jeff's 24th birthday.
At 3 months old Coley weighs roughly 15 pounds and seems to have gotten a little longer too, though I have not measured him. He has been a much happier baby this month, liking tummy time, playing with the toys on his bouncer, and even trying out the jumperoo. He loves to watch me do things, and is talking like crazy. He loves to coo at me, and tries to sing along with me too. His favorite book is "Sheep in a Jeep" so far, and he loves "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. I just started humming it today and he was instantly quiet and trying to sing along! I might have to buy it on itunes! He is learning to put himself to sleep, especially at nap time. I put him in his crib and he babbles and hums himself to sleep most of the time. Bedtime, however, he has learned to fight. He usually goes down okay, but then about an hour later he is up and screams for another hour or two. After that though, he sleeps the entire night through most nights. I occasionally have to give him a bottle around 5 or 6 in the morning, but we've been making it almost 11-12 hours straight without a wake up!
Cole has experienced his first ear infection and now RSV (bronchiolitis) this month. It is interfering with his sleep and normal routine, which is frustrating for all of us. I hope he's feeling better soon!
Cole is wearing many different sizes right now. He's in 3, 3-6, and 6 month onesies, 3-6 and 6 month pants, and 3-6 and 6 month sleepers. He also has a few sweatshirts and things that are NB that still fit, and two pairs of 0-3 month track pants that fit, and a few 6-9 month polos that fit perfectly as well!
Cole also met some relatives this month, which was pretty cool! And he has rolled repeatedly from his tummy to his back in his crib at night (we still haven't seen it happen!), and has even rolled from his back to his tummy (that, I've seen!). He's figured out giggling, which is so much fun, and has a fabulous smile! He has also learned the "pout" and knows how to use it. :) We also think Cole is getting a tooth soon. He is incredibly drooly and can't keep his hands out of his mouth. I can't believe how fast he is growing!
