Happy Monthiversary! (oops, a day late)

Cole is one month old now. He's holding his head up higher and for longer, staying awake for more and more of the day (and sometimes night, unfortunately), he's sleeping longer between feedings, and likes to watch us, hear us talk, and play with us. He's growing a lot too! His face is chunkier and he's about 8 pounds now (we're guesstimating using our bathroom scale). He has just started to outgrow some of his newborn clothes, and some of his 0-3 month outfits fit now. It's kind of sad to pack up the things that don't fit any more. He hardly wore them! He still hates diaper changes (screams like you're killing him!), and for the first time today, enjoyed his bath time without any crying.

Two great "monthiversary" presents for mom: Cole slept 5 hours and 45 minutes straight last night, and he gave me his first real smile yesterday!
