Hermit

Sometimes, on Friday nights, when I'm bored, I miss my dad a lot more. It didn't happen often, but occasionally when Jeff and I were bored, we'd stop by my parents' house and hang out on a Friday night (I'm sure they loved it), but now, we live too far away to "stop by" and my dad lives in Indiana anyway. It also makes me wish we had more friends to hang out with, because sitting home all weekend with nothing to do is far from enjoyable. We usually end up each doing our own things in the house, and then maybe even going to bed early...but it's not like we can magically come up with something free and interesting to do. Oh well. Someday, we'll be wishing we weren't so busy every day and night. For now, I suppose I should learn to just enjoy it. The picture is of us at the DeYoung Christmas party while Dad was up here for vacation.

(PS-if anyone can explain to me how to insert my pictures so they don't always jump ahead of my text, I'd appreciate it. No matter what I do, my text always moves below the pictures I import, and my pictures always end up in a weird order if I post more than one. It used to work to upload a few, and put comments between them, but I can't get it to work anymore.)
