Really no news on the home-front...We put an offer in on a home and the sellers have accepted our offer, but because it is a short sale, we're still waiting for the other bank to accept. Our realtor is awesome and keeps fighting for us. He is trying to push the sale along so we can still get the tax credit. I have my heart set on this house, so if we don't get it, I will be absolutely devastated. It is perfect and I dream about it now. When I look at other houses in our price range, this is the best by far, and the only one I can see as "home." So pray for me while we wait for realtor to call with the answer. If it is accepted, you will probably hear me yelling in excitement three states away, but if we don't get it, expect me to dig a hole and retreat for awhile. I'll post pictures if/when we get the house.
We had a phenomenal Labor Day weekend. Dad came up from Indiana to hang out at Lake Michigan with us. Some of the cousins came to "Grandma's Cottage" too, and it was good to hang out. The water was freezing, but I think this is the first time in recent history that I have not gotten a sunburn, so that's good in itself! I think we figured out that we've been going there for 8 years, and Grandma has been gone for 2 and a half now, but it is always going to be "her" cottage.
One of the gorgeous sunsets we had while we were there.

Jeff went back to school this week...it is finally his last semester! He's already procrastinating on his homework, so we'll see how the semester goes. I am working semi-full time at the storage facility (we're only open 10-5 daily and 10-1 Saturdays). Starting next week, I am going to be working one evening a week at a church and one afternoon/evening at a school. Why I am making myself busier, I don't know, but oh well. It should be fun, and helps fill the time while Jeff's doing homework. And it keeps me around kids, which I have missed a ton lately. More updates to come....
