A Brief Update on Life

Well, I got a new job and no longer work in childcare! I do however miss the little girl (S.) I was babysitting something awful! She is such a doll! I am now the office assistant/cleaning crew/leasing agent at a storage rental facility. It started out last week as part time, but just this morning became a full time position. I'm excited, but sad because it means I probably won't be able to babysit S. anymore (I already had stopped, but thought I might be able to work out having the day off to watch her). The hardest thing to get used to will be working every other Saturday, though it is only 3 hours right around lunch time. I'll be home right around the time I am usually getting ready to do anything anyway! I just don't get to sleep in anymore, although working at 10 every morning isn't too early, so I guess I'll survive! I also work almost entirely by myself, and when I have finished my work, I may read, which is great for the English major in me!

Jeff and I are getting ready for our trip to Alaska (we leave in less than a week!!!) I am starting to panic a bit about everything I have to do before we go, not to mention the flight itself. I absolutely despise traveling, and by about the 6th day of vacation, I am usually more than ready to come home, but this trip is 10 days touring around Alaska. It should be fun, but I can't help but be a little apprehensive. Hopefully, I can calm down and enjoy the trip, and stop worrying about the travel (by planes, trains, and automobiles--all of which make me motion-sick).
Here are a few pics from the summer so far:

At the Phillies game for our first anniversary!

Mom's new puppy, Rosco!
