Weight: 25.5 lbs (75th %ile)
Height: 31 inches (90th %ile)
Head circumference: 19 inches
Teeth: 4 bottom teeth, 4 top teeth
What he can do: Cole walks, loves to wave "hi" and "bye" (even at cars going down the street!), claps his hands, plays peek a boo with a blanket, and turns the pages in books while we read to him. He is also learning to say more things, and likes to "preach" (he sticks his hand out and waves it around while telling you very serious things--it's adorable).
Eats: For breakfast, Cole's favorite is a sausage dog. Not the healthiest so he doesn't get them often, but they are mini sausages wrapped in pancakes (like a corn dog). He acts like he won the lottery when he gets them. He also likes waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, and toast. We still sometimes do yogurt or fruit mixed with oatmeal too. For lunch, Cole loves grilled cheese, especially when I give him a triangle of it, instead of cutting it into small pieces. He also likes chicken nuggets, meatballs, and stews. For dinner, he eats a little of what we eat if we eat early enough for him, or he loves to have mac n cheese, string cheese, bread, meats, rice, veggies, and fruits. Lunch and dinner are basically a lot of the same foods.
Sleep: Cole has been taking 2 naps. His morning nap is usually the longest, at about 2-2.5 hours. His afternoon nap is usually around an hour or so. I wish he would flip this around so that when we have to cut out the morning nap, he's used to the longer nap in the afternoon already. He's been going to bed around 8 and getting up around 7. Right now he's sick though, so he isn't really sleeping.
Books: Dear Zoo (he giggles through this one every time!), Goodnight Moon, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Put Me in the Zoo. If he gets to pick, he chooses Dear Zoo and Goodnight Moon every time.
Toys/Games: We borrowed a gate from my cousin to block off the tv and elliptical (soon to be blocking a Christmas tree unless my cousin needs it back for her tree!). It limits the space he can play, but also keeps his toys more contained, so that's good. He still loves to play with any kind of toy ball, and likes his new musical snail shape sorter just like my cousin Kizie had when she was little! He thinks he's a hotshot when he pushes his highchair around the room too.
Clothes: Pants-- 12 and 18 months (18 for length in most pants)
Shirts/Onesies-- 12-18 month, some 18 month
Rompers/Sleepers-- 12 month, 12-18 month, 18 month
Shoes-- size 4 for the most part, or 12 months. We bought size 5 for snowboots so they will for sure fit all winter.
Teddy won't be mobile yet, so I don't need it back for a while!
ReplyDeleteMy mom got that sorter out for Tillie. It's amazing how I still knew the song.
